CulturExplosion is the brainchild of Tim Easy and his cohorts, of the unique band “Suck It Easy.”
Conceived as “Long Island’s rock n roll bazaar / flea market / arts convention,”
it promised to be a combination networking and promotional vehicle for a multitude of artists in many fields.
Having attended it this afternoon, I can attest that it was fun, informative, entertaining, and did I say fun?
Here are Cathy Kreger and Marci Geller of Lucky 13
The former Queen of Long Island’s Music Scene, Robin Eve, held court providing info about Prune Belly Syndrome Network.
Singer/songwriter Deborah Lombardi promoted her own music as well as American Cancer Society.
Robin Eve’s sister-in-law Rachel Lazzarino exhibited her artwork.
“Symbol of RAE”
Dan Acosta kicked off the music, with a solid set of acoustic rock.
Frank Powers was in attendance with his Frankenstylin.com graphics.
Kristin Gebhard & Nikki Walsh showed their jewelry.
Dee Jurgens exhibited her Pixie Girl homemade handbag designs.
Evan Campanella brought some cool paintings…
…and his friend (sorry I forgot your name! please email me!) had good work too.
Local rockers Finespun gave out free CD’s. Great promo!
Next up on stage were the ladies of Lucky 13: Marci Geller,
Cathy Kreger,
and Susan DeVita.

Here’s a view from the back of the bar:
This guy was there too, in spirit.
Strange But Surf rocked the place with some vintage sounds.

I had to leave just as the evening was heating up, perhaps someone else has blogged about it.
I had my own exhibit, left over from NERFA:
Complete with a giant Blue Crayon!
Hey! A great time was had by all as far as we could tell! So many of you there that I know by email, it was nice to see some of you in person. A great event, hopefully another coming soon!
